Design Lead

Design Lead with WorkandCo International, Inc. d/b/a Work & Co (Brooklyn, NY)Designer contributing to the user experience strategy and design direction of products. Facilitate multimedia design specifications for client projects through the use of participatory and iterative digital design techniques, including prototyping and usability testing. Collaborates with cross-functional teams in conceptualizing, prototyping, and refining designs to align with user needs and business goals. Involved in user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design choices, ensuring a smooth user journey across iterative, multimedia platforms. Works closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centered solutions. Also involved in mentoring junior designers to support their growth. Lead the process of creating a "pitch" to prospective clients which involves breaking down client brief, multiple rounds of concepting ideas, executing ideas; rounds of feedback on the work; and presenting the work to the potential clients. Crucially contributes to shaping product futures, delivering meaningful experiences that drive business success.Supervises 2 employees, including 1 Senior Designer and 1 DesignerPosition allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Brooklyn, NY.15% travel required, domestically and internationally.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Communication, Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication Design, or a related field. Requires 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree. Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Designing B2C applications to drive digital transformation experiences for the telecom industry; Creation of high-fidelity prototypes using HTML, CSS, and Javascript (React.js); Designing B2B marketing web experiences for the financial industry; Management of creation, validation, and implementation of designs for online payment features for electronic learning platforms; Delivering implementation of web pages (React.js); Prototyping delivery for integration of lead generation forms (Hubspot platform); Creation of high-fidelity prototypes using Protopie, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator; and Framer, Principle, Figma, and Protopie for the printing and marketing services industry.Offered salary range: $155,688 - $170,000 per yearTo apply, send resume to: brooklydesignopps@work.co * Please note: The 'Experience Required' in the Job Information section is 3 years or related experience.
