To achieve our ambitious goals, we're seeking a VP, Product Marketing to lead our Product Marketing function and drive strategy across Grammarly's entire Self-Serve and Enterprise product portfolio. The person in this role will define the function's vision, develop strategies to support multiple go-to-market models, and drive execution with cross-functional partners to ensure that Grammarly achieves its long-range plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience partnering closely with product, growth, sales, marketing, and executive leaders, and lead a team of product marketers, to develop portfolio-level product positioning and go-to-market strategies. This leader must be an experienced, hands-on operational manager who can mentor and develop a team of people managers and individual contributors, while delivering against key business objectives. They will bring a successful track record of launching and scaling B2B products or services, and have experience with self-serve/PLG models. This person must be a flexible, cross-functional team player comfortable with bringing clarity and prioritization to a fast-paced, high-growth, often-ambiguous environment.

As VP, Product Marketing, you will draw upon robust leadership experience to help empower people and businesses to improve their communication using Grammarly. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be a key thought partner in shaping category, narrative, and go-to-market strategies.

In this role, you will:

Influence multi-year product roadmaps by synthesizing industry, competitive, and customer insights into product inputsDrive development of strategies (eg. positioning, pricing, packaging), in conjunction with the product, sales, and marketing teams, resulting in significant user and revenue growthCreate compelling messaging and positioning that effectively positions us as a market leader, and communicates the value and differentiation of our products to target audiences (ie. professionals, enterprise buyers, EDU, channel, etc.)Orchestrate product launches that drive awareness and adoption of our offerings with well-defined success metricsPartner across marketing to provide audience insights and product solutions for campaigns that drive new signups, product adoption, and expansionEnable our customer-facing teams to help improve sales efficiency through impactful enablement programs that support all sales cycle stagesBe a cross-organization, cross-functional leader and ensure the work we produce is cohesive and thoughtfully executedQualificationsHas 10+ years of senior-level product marketing experience, with at least 5+ in B2B businesses, and ideally experience with web consumer (or consumerized B2B) products or servicesHas a background in web technology or the digital communications industryHas a passion for the fast-paced and evolving world of technology (AI-related is a plus) and how organizations can improve how they interact with their customersIs a strong writer and storyteller and holds a high bar for team outputsPresents a proven record of mentoring and leading diverse and distributed teams and has managed a team of 2+ reporting layersEmbodies our EAGER values-is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkableIs inspired by our MOVE principles: move fast and learn faster; obsess about creating customer value; value impact over activity; and embrace healthy disagreement rooted in trustIs able to work in person in the San Francisco hub weeklyCompensation and Benefits

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.

United States:

Zone 1: $372,000 - $512,000x/year (USD)
