Job Description:

Recruitment Marketing Communications

Conducts and creates ongoing marketing communications research, planning, implementation and evaluation that support the delivery of consistent and effective institutional messaging, and increased awareness and interest for College programs. Specific regard will be given to doctoral (Ph.D. and Ed.D.) terminal degree programs. Works closely with content producers and subject matter experts throughout the College to support coordinated, integrated marketing and promotional communications. Co-creates and implements integrated marketing programs that effectively describe and promote the College, associated degree programs, faculty expertise and products produced through research grants or other funded activity. Prepare or edit organizational publications, print and digital, for target audiences.

Social Media Content Planning, Production and Evaluation

Implements current social media strategies and tactics to grow engagement with targeted audiences and support organizational objectives. Supports management and monitoring of the College’s primary accounts, creating and posting content, interacting with others to establish positive relationships, and building the college community around marketing objectives. Integrates social media across marketing communications efforts and offers support to college-sub accounts with content marketing efforts.

Public Relations Communications

Uses current and proven research-based communications strategy to serve key institutional goals. Supports the production and placement of programmatic and institutional communications, including select stakeholder relations, promotion of faculty initiatives, and student accomplishments. Assists in developing and implementing effective messaging using copywriting, imagery, audio, video that integrate with marketing objectives.

Promotion and Advocacy

Engages in personal selling and stakeholder relations tactics to achieve marketing objectives. Participates in events and initiatives that promote the activities of the College; enhance its reputation; and inform, engage, and build support with strategic constituencies including the national and international media, opinion leaders, administrators, faculty, students, staff, alumni, donors and the other target audiences.

Analysis and Reporting

Provides support for the collection of insights and analytics related to the impact of implemented social media campaigns, marketing campaigns and other communications products/output. Disseminates the results of evaluations as appropriate to team and partners, and uses data to inform future campaigns.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Communications and the Director of E-Learning, Technology, and Communications.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an Associate’s degree and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Candidates should have superior interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, superior oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and ability to work proactively to provide wide-range of project support.
