About The Opportunity

Avaya is looking for a passionate Events Marketing Manager. You will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing events that align with the company’s marketing and business strategy. This position involves strategic thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, vendor coordination, and virtual event execution

Key Responsibilities

Strategically plan, manage, and execute events to align with marketing goals, corporate branding, and sales efforts.Oversee all aspects of event management, including project management, site selection, hotel and vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, and event production.Collaborate with external vendors for tradeshow and event production, ensuring performance, budget adherence, and continuous improvement.Manage auxiliary event functions such as booth locations, sponsorships, hospitality events, and post-event reporting.Plan and execute virtual events with live, semi-live, and pre-recorded content, staying updated on platforms and technologies.Educate speakers on event logistics and manage speaker content.Develop and communicate comprehensive event plans covering sponsorships, speaking, exhibiting, lead generation, and brand awareness.Execute marketing activities to promote events, including communication campaigns and content production.Manage event budgets, ensuring all events are within financial guidelines.Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event, including pre and post-event analysis.

About You

5+ years of experience in planning high-visibility events for both virtual and in-person settings, including tradeshows, conferences, and product launches.3+ years of experience in tradeshow exhibit coordination, including booth design, vendor management, and digital content assets.Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SFDC, Adobe Suite, Zoom Events, and Monday.com is a plus.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities, with a customer service focus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, confidential environment.Creative thinker with innovative solutions.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Willingness to travel overnight (approximately 30%).Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $145,000 + bonus.
