Manager, Digital Marketing

will be responsible for the overall social editorial strategy, management, and campaign development for Disney Bundle and Bundle business initiatives on behalf of the Social Editorial team. This role will engage in creating and spearheading creative campaigns, collaborating with cross functional teams within Disney+ and Disney Entertainment and serving as a mentor to team specialist & coordinators. They will manage projects for key initiatives as defined by team leadership.This role is primarily developing platform-specific strategies, building paid and organic campaign deliverables, providing feedback on concepts and content, maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders. - this role is has a projected end date of September 2025Social Strategy & Planning - Bundle leaningOversee the development of a comprehensive social strategy encompassing messaging, engagement tactics, and content performance.

Liase with editorial managers to ensure efficient programming of overall calendar; manage integration of organic and paid beats for Bundle into the overall calendar for Disney and Disney+ social channels on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok in collaboration with other team Social leads.

Project Management:

Oversee and manage assigned projects dedicated to engaging the core Disney fandom, actively collaborating with loyalty and fan engagement programs across the enterprise.

Content Development and Execution:

Utilize extensive Disney Brand and Franchise knowledge to ideate and execute compelling and visually stunning social content and campaigns.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify creative solutions supporting marketing and promotional needs for key priorities.

Platform Management and Innovation:

Collaborate with team managers, specialists, and coordinators to program across all social media platforms.

Identify new products and emerging trends to engage existing and new audiences for Disney & Disney+.

Lead exploration and expansion into new and emerging platforms, ensuring best-in-class fan engagement campaigns, community management tactics, and comprehensive social coverage of live events.

Paid Social Media Campaigns & Strategy Development:Execute paid social media campaigns for Disney+ Brand and Disney Bundle campaigns in collaboration with the Media team.

Translate creative and marketing strategy briefs into effective digital campaign strategies.

Possess in-depth knowledge of social platform targeting capabilities.

Strategically advise on optimizing posting for both paid and organic content, considering functionalities associated with social campaigns.

Partner with other team members

to deliver against Paid campaign needs

Contribute to the development of the paid social strategy, focusing on messaging, engagement, and fan community preferences.

Campaign Planning & CreativeBroaden Disney+ and Bundle

audiences through compelling creative executions

Lead the planning, review and approval process across the following areas:

Participate and collate highlights in FY kick off calls with digital campaign pod to ensure scoping of asks across Disney+ Brand and Disney Bundle Marketing

Collaborate on quarterly & monthly priorities by brand with Digital Campaign Planning counterparts

Draft assigned Editorial Strategy briefs for all Bundle related campaigns

Lead Campaign Creative concepting

Generate and deliver Strategy Briefs as rolling assignments, ensuring a comprehensive and dynamic approach to social campaign planning.

Spearhead social campaign Planning activities in collaboration with digital campaign pod, from brainstorming sessions to mapping out posts, optimizing content for maximum impact.

Act as the key contact and partner for Campaign Planning Leads based on campaign assignments, driving seamless collaboration and execution.

Stay informed about market performance and share brand best practices.

Partner & Relationship ManagementAlign social editorial campaign strategy with campaign strategy lead, ensuring seamless integration.

Identify opportunities for workflow refinements, streamlining processes and enhancing collaboration with key stakeholders.

Coordinate daily with various lines of business on cross-company social media marketing initiatives.

Lead internal and external partner relationships

Work across all divisions to identify and maximize synergy opportunities, aligning strategies with Disney+ and Bundle social's creative vision.

Collaborate with digital teams across The Walt Disney Company, synchronizing tentpole beats, and amplifying brand initiatives.

Resource Management:

Maintain documentation of incremental workload and resource needs to proactively address bandwidth concerns. Provide real-time updates to team leader to manage impact.

Frame and contribute to project team meetings, establish agendas, and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth and address complex situations effectively.

Basic Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience in social/digital marketing, ideally working in a big brand setting.

Outstanding project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Top of the line passion, appreciation, and knowledge of Disney and Disney+ brands, films, characters, shorts, TV series, and Disney Parks presence.

Invested in developing creative, social first ideas that drive meaningful cultural impact and resonance with fans

Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Superior knowledge of social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and native products, plus invested interest in exploring new spaces.

Up to date with the latest trends and platform updates and able to use those to inform strategy.

Excellent writing and copy-editing skills with the ability to translate traditional marketing content into brand-relevant conversations.

Passion for storytelling, listening to what the community has to say, and providing memorable and/or award-winning experiences in the social space.

Knack for finding creative solutions to challenges and using data to drive decision-making.

Team player with a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail and ability to use sound judgement as it relates to brand safety.

Preferred Qualifications:Preferred experience in Airtable, Sprinklr publishing and reporting, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Photography, Videography, and Photoshop.

Required Education :Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Business, Marketing, Film, and/or related field and/or equivalent years of industry experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $102,000 to $136,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
