Summary
Chobani Creative is a team of designers, writers, producers and makers who use world-class creativity and craft to fight for happily ever after. As a Senior Designer at Chobani, you will join a team that is responsible for how the Chobani brand is brought to life visually. You will help determine the overall style and tone of the brand across our packaging, digital, marketing communications and campaigns. We aspire to do work that is experimental and unexpected but powerful. In your role as a Senior Designer, quantity and quality equally matter. This means your core responsibility is to be a geyser or provocative ideas, expertly crafted.
Responsibilities
Ensure all work is strategically sound, conceptually inspiring and creatively powerful Be a hands-on design expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through implementation Reinforce Chobani’s visual identity system and photography style and implement it into all design work, ranging from packaging to digital properties Collaborate with Integrated Production to ensure executional excellence Generate ideas; articulating and defending your point of view with the larger team Participate in dialogue about the work, encouraging debate Elevate the imaginations, design references, and craftsmanship of the Brand Design team You are a systems thinker with the ability to craft pixel-perfect dynamic solutions for packaging, brand identity and web Bring product innovation brand identities to life from concept through to market Build flexible design systems that allow the company to produce hardworking assets quickly and beautifully, thus, allowing the Brand Design team to focus their energies on more expansive and exciting creative opportunities Occasionally oversee and mentor entry level Designers on small to medium sized projects Rational understanding of how design solves for business objectives A foundational understanding of print processes Be open to learning new processes and tools for creation Generate content quickly and perfectly making sure to stick to deadlines Collaborate with team members on various projects
Requirements
5+ years of design experience and bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of design experience and certification or equivalent Experience in ad agency/in house or marketing services preferred Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. 3D skills a plus Ambitious and eager to work at a larger scale without sacrificing craftsmanship or beauty Proficient knowledge of standard design tools Concept and idea-driven, whether that is starting with an original concept or retrofitting an existing one Self-propelled and not waiting for instruction Outspoken about your ideas while being able to accept internal and cross functional critique Thrives in ambiguity and large amounts of autonomy Craft obsessed
