POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Multimedia Designer plays a key role in developing visuals for print, web and video. They create print and digital collateral that meet various needs for creative projects, both within the Advancement team and for the rest of the CURE network. This position requires interdepartmental coordination across CURE to ensure that all deliverables communicate desired messages and function successfully for advancement efforts, hospital staff, and all departments at MSC in order to support the goals of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Collaborate with the Global Content Manager to create, edit and animate dynamic videosDevelop wireframes and design content for the CURE website, email and social media platformsCapture US-based photo, video and audio content for advancement projectsCreate and design collateral materials including, but not limited to, printed mailings, brochures, posters, annual reports, etc. that support CURE's branding and messaging and reflect appropriate design for the target audience(s).Assist in the creative process by helping establish a creative plan for projects.Participate in brainstorming innovative approaches for design.Contribute to the overall efforts of the Advancement team.OTHER DUTIESPlease note this position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the co-worker for this position. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of Three (3) years experience in graphic design, web design, animation or photography/videography.Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or equivalent experience in a related field.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Fluency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.Comprehensive knowledge of design principles/best practices, production processes, as well as digital file formats (tif, gif, eps, pdf, jpg), and CURE's brand standards.Ability to multi-task and deliver projects on time.Ability to provide superior design solutions that translate the organization's mission into engaging visual messages for print and web.Strong communication skills and a service mentality while working with internal and external stakeholders, and during peer reviews.Ability to receive feedback from superiors with humility, positivity and a willing spirit.
