What You'll Do
Summary: The Field Service Parts Expediter's purpose is to inspect parts for conformance before shipping, remediate defects when possible and help identify root cause and corrective actions when parts are found to be outside of standard.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Inspect Parts to specifications.* Salvage units when applicable performing task such as but not limited to buffing glass and deglazing frames.* Host daily material review boards* Produce Inspection metrics.* Read blueprints and order tickets.* Use quality tools such as but not limited to color meters, micrometers, calipers.* Accept or reject finished products and discus inspection results with the production team.
WHO YOU ARE
* Knowledge of Quality specifications and tools* Experience with window, door and/or glass repair* Good communication skills* Ability to document and communicate inspection results.* Ability to perform at a high level under time constraints.
