The
3D Graphic Artist I
position remotely supports RRL initiatives and reports to a Program Manager for day-to-day supervision and career development. U.S. Citizenship required.
Summary:C2 Technologies seeks a junior 3D artist to join our Training, Modelling, and Simulation team. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge and experience in creating realistic and immersive 3D designs and developments. Be able to demonstrate strong skills in modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation. Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and engineers, helping support and produce interactive trainers, serious games, and simulations for mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
Responsibilities:Interpreting and communicating technical information and creative ideas into high-end interactive multimedia applications.Design and create vehicles, props, and sets for real-time interactive 3D training.Work closely with engineers and other artists on projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Game Development, Game Design, 3D Art, or related field and 0+ years of experienceExperience with texturing suites (such as Substance Painter, Quixel, etc.).Experience with Maya, 3D Studio Max, or equivalent.Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred:
Exposure to game engines such as Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, etc.)Exposure to development and optimization for mobile devices (iOS, Android)Exposure to the development of immersive 3D technologies such as AR/VR.Exposure to Zbrush, Mudbox or equivalent.Exposure to photo editing software such as Photoshop, GIMP, etc.Experience with US Navy programs (Sailor 2025 / Ready Relevant Learning (RRL))
Submission Requirements:
An online portfolio showcasing past work is required as part of the application and must be included for consideration. This is a vital part of the application process and should demonstrate skill in creating realistic hard surface 3D assets for real-time pipelines.The portfolio should also show knowledge of high- to low-poly modeling workflows and PBR texturing. Include a short breakdown of direct contributions, texture sets, wireframes, and clean renders of finished work in a real-time renderer.
