The Marketing Manager role at Spectra Aerospace & Defense is focused on leading the global marketing direction and message for Spectra Aerospace & Defense. It is critical to have a technical understanding of Spectra Aerospace & Defense's products and offerings as well as the ability to create new material for lead generation, company messaging, and customer education. A passion for the industry, customer, and technology is critical to this success in this role. This role will work with team members across multiple sites.

ResponsibilitiesLead Spectra Aerospace & Defense's global marketing with a primary focus on the US and European marketsSet and own specific marketing goals based on a strategic marketing plan with metrics and KPIsDesign and implement marketing strategies that are aligned with our goals, technology roadmaps, product plans, and budgetsCreate new sales opportunities via qualified web leads for our productsOwn the company branding and web designDrive qualified website traffic using digital marketing campaignsCreate technical content in the form of whitepapers and articlesWork with the sales team to develop product brochures and other mediaMaintain relationships with key industry publishers and editorsCreate and manage sales collateral including data sheets and slide decksTrade show support and logistics including booth planning, setup, and messagingSolidify consistency of brand through all marketing channelsTrack industry innovations and changes to guide new product development leveraging supplier improvements and industry requirement trends.Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering/technical field of study or relevant and demonstratable experience5+ years of experience with product marketingUnderstanding of systems for the defense and aerospace market or other technical market with similar niche productsProject planning and ownership to keep track of multiple projects, campaigns, and events to convey the company messageExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter, ability to work in a dynamic environmentOther

Must be able to work with export-controlled items or dataAbility to lift and transport equipmentDomestic and international travel requiredUS person able to obtain a US security clearance
