St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager - Institutional. This strategic and dynamic position is a 360-degree full-stack position that prioritizes reputation management and brand image above all, ensuring that the college maintains a positive public presence and responds effectively to any crises. The role encompasses developing, executing, and managing comprehensive marketing communications strategies to support the college's overall reputation, enrollment, fundraising, and brand image.

This position requires expertise in reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations, with a deep understanding of managing earned, owned, and paid media.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, this role will cover a broad range of responsibilities, including policy communications, campus updates, internal communications, and event marketing.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education -

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.Experience and Credentials -

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, or a related role.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communications strategies.Experience in higher education marketing is beneficial but not required.Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools.Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.Strong understanding of SEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze content performance and make informed decisions.Strong visual storytelling abilities and experience in creating multimedia content.Proficient in understanding and developing audience personas.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations.Ability to interact politely and resolve customer service issues.Ability to multitask, meet specific deadlines, and prioritize tasks and assignments.Skilled in basic math computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Workday) and ability to learn upgrades and new programs as needed.Ability to exercise good judgement and decisions in an expeditious manner.Skilled at setting a good example for others.Skilled at organizing events, programs, projects and see them through to completion.Skilled at making presentations to large (>100) groups of people.Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy environment.
