Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, communicating effectively, fostering a culture of belonging, and recruiting qualified staff to support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting business plans, setting goals, measuring progress, identifying improvements, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
Leads teams effectively through teaching, training, listening, store visits, feedback, collaboration, and guiding change initiatives, ensuring clear communication of business objectives.
Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
Ensures compliance with policies and supports the company's mission and values, promoting ethics and integrity through action plans and open communication.
Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, and operational processes, and developing strategies to meet sales and profit targets.

Works as a team, building trust, communicating positively, and mentoring others.

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific training and assessments, and for firearms-related roles, background checks and certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
