Principal Mission:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and producing effective layouts through traditional marketing channels such as direct mail, brochures, flyers, signage, and email. The position is responsible for maintaining the PFFCU brand and supporting the marketing and sales strategies.

Qualifications:College degree required; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in Graphic Design2-5 years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house corporate agency.Expert with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (including interactive forms), and Microsoft Office. PC Platform.Knowledgeable in HTML/CSS, and WordPress. Ability to design and deploy emails within an email platform.Knowledge of production methods for print and signage.Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.Ability to execute on projects assigned by management and Senior Product Advertising Manager.Comfortable managing multiple projects, working in a fast-paced environment, and able to meet deadlines.Ability to work within team and with other departments in a constructive manner that supports PFFCU’s values of member service, teamwork, commitment, and performance.Ability to learn why members choose PFFCU, including the key features of our products and services, as well as our competitive advantages over banks.

Major Responsibilities:Support the Senior Product Advertising Manager in creating internal and external marketing materials to support project strategy and goals. These include direct mail, flyers, brochures, interior and exterior signage, forms, and emails.Ownership of project from start to finish. Track project work and identify milestones and deliverables. Report on progress to Senior Product Advertising Manager.Learn the features and benefits of PFFCU products and services and our key selling points relative to the competition to ensure design/layout brings content to life by highlighting key benefits and the call to action.Stay on top of industry and competitor trends.Archive files electronically maintaining naming conventions, processes, and procedures for file storage.Perform related tasks and other duties as required.This job requires work to be completed outside standard business hours and in addition to the standard weekly business hours; including rotating on-call periods.Ability to use a personal computer, enter information via a keyboard, and access information from a computer screen.
