Summary:We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design System Designer with a strong background in iconography and illustrations. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is experienced in creating high-quality icons that enhance usability and visual appeal. You will work closely with our design and development teams to build and refine our design system, ensuring consistency and excellence across all our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design a comprehensive set of icons for our design system, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and user needs.Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into effective icon designs.Create and maintain a consistent visual language across icons and other design elements within the design system.Utilize Figma to design, prototype, and document icon assets and guidelines.Conduct design reviews and gather feedback to iterate and improve icon designs.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in iconography and design systems.
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of experience in design system development with a focus on iconography and illustration.Strong portfolio showcasing icon design and illustration skills.Proficiency in Figma and other design toolsSolid understanding of design principles, including consistency, scalability, and usability.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and functional design solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on design systems for large-scale applications or products.Familiarity with front-end development processes and principles.Knowledge of accessibility standards and how they apply to icon design.
Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
