Job Description:
Americo is currently hiring for a Producer Administration Specialist. This role is responsible for the full cycle of agent contracting in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate guidelines. This position requires the ability to be able to prioritize, make independent decisions and produce high volumes of work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in order to meet department SLA's. As well as performing various other administrative tasks as assigned.

As well as performing various other administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough review of agent contracting including background investigations and entry of data into source system(s)
- Process state appointments and appointment terminations according to state and corporate guidelines
- Process maintenance request such as EO, Producer Errors, AML Continuing Education to ensure agents are compliant with state and corporate guidelines
- Investigate and resolve internal and external problems by conducting research
- Provide satisfactory service to all internal and external customers via email, phone, mail, etc...Complete assigned projects and other administrative duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus, but is not required to complete job functions
- Basic understanding of Life Insurance and how Agent Contracting fits into the entire process
- Ability to navigate in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to think big picture, work independently, yet be a team player
- Ability to read and interpret guidelines
- Ability to apply work standards to perform tasks in a precise and accurate manner
- Ability to use Internet/Web searches on State Websites
