Join us and be part of the next generation of innovators as we blaze a trail forward for our Nation, industry and company.Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.Technical Writer / Editors must possess the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to elicit detailed information from subject-matter experts (for example, applications developers), in addition to advanced writing and editing skills. They participate and collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives, interact with subject-matter-experts in content development, and support the development of contract reports and other deliverables. Technical Editors must be adept in document creation using applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.Duties include but are not limited to:Documenting the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications Writing and editing user manuals, help systems and other technical documentsAssisting in the writing of Stored Procedures and Triggers as needed in database developmentDesigning and formatting documents using document-creation softwareInterviewing developers and other technical resource personnel to ensure the accuracy of all information presentedReviewing and editing documentation and diagrams of engineering and design activities Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule
