EMPIRE is looking for a
YouTube Content ID / Platform & Rights Manager
to join our downtown San Francisco office. This role will report into the YouTube CMS Manager.Digital Rights Management:
Manage all digital rights on YouTube, including monitoring and enforcing content ownership.Metadata Quality Assurance:
Handle new asset exports and conduct ongoing quality assurance of ingested metadata to ensure accuracy and completeness.Exceptional Support:
Provide outstanding support to multiple internal teams and partners to promptly resolve content-related issues.Dispute Resolution:
Oversee the settlement and follow-up of all disputes, conflicts, and resolutions across the entire catalog.Reporting:
Prepare KPI and delta reports for internal Distribution and Publishing Teams to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Policy Compliance:
Ensure compliance of all operations with YouTube policies and guidelines.Workflow Optimization:
Improve workflows and suggest automated functionalities to streamline current processes and enhance efficiency.Key Notes for Success:YouTube CMS and Content ID Expertise : The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with YouTube's Content Management System (CMS) and Content ID system. This includes proficiency in managing content, resolving copyright claims, and optimizing content for visibility and monetization.Sound Recording and Publishing Matching Proficiency : A sophisticated understanding of sound recording and publishing matching processes is crucial. The candidate should excel in identifying and rectifying discrepancies between sound recordings and their publishing rights to ensure accurate content identification and rights management.Tech-Savvy and Analytical Skills:
Strong proficiency in tools like Excel (or Google Sheets) is essential for dissecting and analyzing large datasets. The candidate should be comfortable working with complex data sets, conducting thorough reviews, and providing insights for historical tracking and performance optimization.Effective Communication : Clear and concise communication skills are vital for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and content creators. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication to effectively convey complex information and facilitate collaboration.Location Requirement:
The candidate must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate.
