SECONDARY MARKETING HEDGING AND TRADING LEADER

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Responsible for executing loan sale, pricing, trading and investor delivery at the direction of secondary marketing initiatives and corporate strategies. Core leader with the ability to take discrete and broad qualitative/quantitative inputs and outputs and develop risk management strategies, trading and hedging strategies on loans held for sale product. Responsible for alignment of investors and strategies to support/effect CNB's mortgage transformation and go-forward strategies. SPOC for treasury, finance, and accounting for all fair value reporting, valuation, coordination of risk reports and assessments from the front office and back office of Secondary Marketing.

What you will do

Key leader in P&L management, trading strategies, held for sale accounting/Fair Value, and investor delivery/development. Coordinates and relies on strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders, as well as a close working relationship with Middle Office Leader.Works closely with traders and risk managers to centralize assumptions with respect to pricing, trading, and hedging considerations for alignment to Secondary's policies, processes and procedures.Provides daily commentary and metrics/valuations on At-Risk trading position. Fair Value accounting changes and overall mark to market process/strategy.Single Point of Contact for all investors and counterparties around the day-to-day running of Secondary Marketing, including at-risk trade limit reporting and mark to market outputs as defined/managed by the Secondary Marketing Manager and/or Traders.Integral leader within the business unit working with 2nd LOD partners for all communication needs, reporting, and strategy metrics.Leader executing approved trading strategies and acquisition loan strategies that support bank/business goals/needs.Single point of contact for executive report outs in coordination and partnering with Secondary Marketing Manager.

Must-Have*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent7-10 years broad-based residential mortgage trading, risk management, and loan settlement processes. Including but not limited to capital markets experience with investors/counterparties and business partners.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
