Job DescriptionHybrid:

Reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed/collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountainview Technical Center or GM Warren Technical Center - Solan Engineering Building three times per week, at minimum.This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.About the Team:

Innovative design ideas are destined to be a catalyst to transform our automotive software and service experiences. The General Motors Interface Design team is dedicated to inventing, designing, and delivering our core software experiences in our vehicles and across our 1st party apps and branded websites.About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support hardware and software products for the General Motors Human Interface Design team. In this role you will oversee projects related to software administration – license management and hardware administration – procurement and inventory management. You will support the team by owning onboarding processes and provide general technical support and troubleshooting across our current hardware and software systems.Your responsibilities will include planning, tracking, development, and validation activities to ensure team goals are met focused in functionality, quality, and timely implementation. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including operations, IT support, customer service, and system safety, in a fast-paced design and technology environment.Responsibilities:Oversee hardware standardization projects and manage device inventory.Administer and manage current software applications, including access and license renewals.Partner with IT support team on projects related to video conferencing enablement, plotter + printing services, and PC data migration.Develop and execute processes for hardware and software repairs, including front-line troubleshooting and diagnostics.Develop, communicate, and maintain detailed project plans based on resources, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and schedule targets.Collaborate with internal and external partners to document, supervise, and report on project progress.Lead project kickoff and close-out meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment at the start and end of a project.Drive multiple projects in parallel, ensuring on-time delivery with cross-functional team members.Effectively communicate project progress against the plan regularly.Identify areas where processes can be improved and simplified.Qualifications:7 to 10 years of experience providing technical support across hardware and software systems.History of technical project management skills required for scoping, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and quality assurance.Leveraging strong documentation and reporting skills.Familiarity with hardware and software bill of materials and change management processes.Experience creating and maintaining large, complex project schedules using appropriate tools.Record of accomplishment of resolving program conflicts, mitigating risks, and driving issues to resolution.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.Compensation:

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.The salary range for this role is $186,200 to 285,300 Annually. The salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.BONUS POTENTIAL:
