This is a fantastic opportunity to join the User Research team at Olympus and become a key player in supporting the design and product strategy of the new Digital Health Unit! The Senior User Researcher in Operations is responsible for the day-to-day logistics supporting the planning and execution of user research activities. In this role, you will be coordinating operations for a broad range of research efforts in collaboration with UXRs, designers, product managers, engineers, and other partners. You will have a deep understanding of the end-to-end research process, extensive experience with project management of mixed methods studies, be able to relay information clearly to key stakeholders, and effectively manage research-related operational tasks. You will enable the research team to do their best work, through the orchestration & optimization of people, processes, tools, and craft.Job Duties

Coordinate research operations related to project planning, creating roadmaps, engaging with research partners, recruiting, scheduling, communicating project status updates, and developing risk mitigation strategies for potential scenarios that can jeopardize data quality and study timelines.Manage research activities related to high quality data collection, analysis, documentation, deliverables, dissemination, and archiving of research materials. Continuously evaluate these processes for efficiency and effectiveness, implementing improvements as necessary.Development and socialization of UXR onboarding materials, best practices, playbooks, and templates.Deep experience with UXR tools and platforms such as Dscout, Qualtrics, Dovetail, User Testing, Calendly, etc.; and support with the configuration and training the team on these research tools and platforms.Support the evaluation of research processes by identifying areas for improvement and working with the UX operations team to make changes.Drive collaboration and coordinate alignment with cross-functional partners.High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, good judgement and critical thinking, proactive problem solver, customer-centered, ability to juggle multiple demands, and results oriented.Outstanding verbal & written communication skills--both vertically and horizontally throughout the organization--excelling in candor and tact.Job Qualifications
