We are developing technologies needed to enable breakthrough AR glasses and VR headsets. We are seeking a contract UX Researcher to help advance an ambitious research project aimed at developing technologies that augment human capabilities and enable effortless communication in acoustically challenging environments.Responsibilities:The main function of a UX Researcher is to conduct research studies with human subjects. The UXR is responsible for the set-up, implementation, and data collection for in-person and remote studies. This is a senior-level UXR position with increased responsibility for driving research studies, including owning experimental design, conducting user studies, collecting data, analyzing data, and creating reports with findings and recommendations for the research and product teams.Skill Requirements:3+ years of industry experience with qualitative and quantitative researchBachelors degree required, Masters or higher education preferred. Coursework or lab experience in the following sub-areas: speech perception/production, psycholinguistics, hearing science, language-focused cognitive psychology, auditory neuroscience, social science, psychology, and similar.Experience with hardware products preferably consumer electronics or wearable devices.Human-subject research experienceExperience with data analysis and programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL is a plusAbout INSPYR Solutions:Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
