What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Identify research opportunities across business areas and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align on a unified research strategy that informs product roadmapsDesign and conduct innovative studies utilizing diverse research methodsSynthesize research findings into actionable insights and narratives that drive product decisionsMentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
What is Required (Qualifications):Minimum of 7 years of experience guiding cross-functional teams through product research and iterationAt least 3 years of experience mentoring junior researchersBachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI) or a related social sciences fieldAdvanced ability to present and facilitate workshops with various stakeholdersStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):10+ years of experience in user research or a similar fieldMasters or PhD in human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, anthropology, sociology, or related fieldExperience leading exploratory and evaluative research activitiesKnowledge of A/B and multi-variate testing methodologiesBackground in the mortgage or financial services industry (fintech)
