The University of Missouri Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Director of Graphic Design to contribute to the overall vision and goals of Mizzou Athletics by creating compelling, story-focused, and engaging content and narratives through multimedia.Responsibilities:
Organize and manage multiple design projects in various stages of progress.Formulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, merchandise, signage, and other collateral from initial idea to final execution while meeting self-imposed and external deadlines.Design promotional materials for both print and digital platforms for all athletics-related departments and teams as assigned using Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).Formulate graphic concepts and templates that can be distributed and deployed by others’ use within the department.Participate in content development and idea generation to help drive the brand of Mizzou Athletics.Collaborate with photographers, marketing, coaching staffs, and other university departments to achieve the goals of Mizzou Athletics graphics.
