Communication Coordinator

to support communications operations for one of our government clients. This role involves assisting with event communications, developing communication plans, and coordinating various communication artifacts. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, manage project reports, and perform office support tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.This position offers a hybrid work environment but requires proximity to Washington DC for occasional on-site needs.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the execution and planning of communications operations, including event communications, communication plans, and various communication artifacts.Develop and coordinate communication strategies to support departmental objectives.Collaborate with project managers to edit and coordinate project reports and proposals.Conduct typing, data entry, and other office support activities to ensure smooth departmental operations.Maintain a comprehensive resources library and perform research to support communication and project activities.Prepare visual aids such as charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, tracking project status, and monitoring project requirements and regulations.Manage and update the website, ensuring it remains current and relevant.Address and resolve maintenance requests to keep the website up-to-date.Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Utilize experience in office support, project coordination, and communications to enhance departmental efficiency.Requirements:Experience in planning and executing communications operations and developing communication plans.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Proficiency in preparing visual aids and maintaining resource libraries.Knowledgeable in website maintenance and content management.Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in communications, office support, or project coordination.Bachelor’s degree required.Active VA clearance required.Benefits:MBL Technologies offers a competitive salary adjusted for candidate qualifications partnered with an industry-leading benefits package.
