UX Designer 3 (contract)

Position Responsibilities• Create effective, usable, and satisfying user experiences with information technology.• Participate in user-centered design activities, including creating journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.• Conduct user research through interviews, field studies, and surveys.• Assist in the definition of user requirements and usability goals.• Support the creation of user interaction design alternatives and the building of prototypes.• Conduct usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and other reviews to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of designs.• Diagnose simple usability issues and recommend changes.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)• 3-5 years of experience in UX design.• Experience designing web apps, mobile apps, and desktop solutions.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)• Experience designing, developing, and leading business solutions that impact a company across organizations.• Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions with general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy of meeting objectives.• Ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors.ClearanceSecret Clearance Preferred.CompensationThis is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $63.57/hour - $79.46/hour.• Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.• All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
