JOB SUMMARYMSTS is seeking a candidate with a strong background in electrical/electronics, mechanical, piping, and fire protection, with experience using CAD, BIM, and Revit. This position will require knowledge in design facility and existing remodel. Candidates who are local are preferred, but remote candidates with the desired experience will be considered. Responsibilities include Revit on Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC). The position will generate marketing quality media conveying concepts of future AEC programs and projects facilities. Create documents to record progress, completed designs, and construction specifications.
DUTIES• Prepare and check design drawings, specifications, calculations, system design descriptions, and standard detail development for industrial and commercial buildings.• Coordinate with architects and multiple engineering disciplines, building teaming relationships with technical and other company organizations.• Interpret and adapt guidelines for specific cases.• Ensure design deliverables comply with MSTS policies and procedures.• Architecture Technology• BIM Modeling & Drafting – Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC)• Engineering Technology (mechanical, electrical, electronics)• Graphic Design• AEC New Media – Virtual Reality, Animation, etc.• Renderings• Vector Artwork
QUALIFICATIONSEducation:• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the field of civil design as related to construction and site development.
Experience:• CADD Operator III HS w/7 years exp.• CADD Operator IV HS w/10 years exp.• Graphic Designer II BS degree w/7 years exp.• Graphic Designer III BS degree w/10 years exp.• Graphic Designer IV BS degree w/12 years exp.
