Overview :

We seek a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team at Konnect Transit. As the voice of our organization online, you will be pivotal in enhancing our digital presence, engaging our community, and driving awareness of our services. Your work will directly contribute to our vision of being a statewide leader in offering equitable transportation solutions and supporting the rehabilitation of detained youth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our visibility, engagement, and community support.

- Create compelling content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) that resonates with our target audience and reflects our mission and values.

- Manage daily social media activities, including posting, monitoring, and responding to community interactions.

- Collaborate with our team to promote fundraising campaigns, events, and updates about our services.

- Analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, adjusting as necessary to optimize reach and engagement.

- Stay informed of trends in social media and non-profit marketing to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within the non-profit sector.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that inspire and engage.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.

- Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and translate them into impactful social media content.

- Passionate about our mission and committed to making a difference in the lives of detained youth and their families.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
