This role is hands-on, but also provides direction to our marketing team which includes social media, email advertising, and property signage. Our Marketing Leader will be responsible for various properties within our brand.Responsibilities:Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.Balances service satisfaction objectives with financial and business objectives.Ability to lead, interact, and communicate with a wide variety of people.Develops and executes marketing strategies to expand customer base and maximize existing guest potential to obtain market share.Works with other departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new guests and keep current guests and clients.Builds relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets.Schedules and coordinates content shoots for other team members.Monitors the social media posts of our Marketing Coordinator(s) to ensure brand standards are being met.Creates a consistent posting schedule that includes engaging text, image, and/or video content.Edits all photos and videos to match brand standards.Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around the company’s products and services.Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.Grow and maintain our following through the design and implementation of a social media content calendar.Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.Attends property and community events to capture content and live feeds.Engages with local businesses and partners with local businesses to create hotel stay packages.Obtain knowledge of property events and offerings to manage and answer all messages, inquiries, comments, and tags.Creates property event flyers that meet brand standards.Updates all property signage with the most up to date promotions.Updates company websites to reflect hotel promotions, upcoming entertainment, prices changes, hours of operation, etc.Coordinates weekly email newsletters and updates the email contact list.Partners with other departments to create ticketed events in Eventbrite. Also, creates links with company websites.Attends property events to provide support in setup, cleanup, run of show, etc.Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.Engage followers and guests to increase brand loyalty and the submission of guest-shared content.Assists the team in the creation of events on social media (Ticket links, Facebook events, basic flyer creation, event descriptions, etc.)Manage basic digital analytics across all social platforms working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to meet analytics goals. Provides detailed monthly reporting analytical data including engagement, reach and potential profitability.Monitor marketing industry news and submit reports on emerging trends to Director of Sales & Marketing every quarter.Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generations.Tracks all advertising costs to meet budget.Organizes photo and video content in file storage by month and year.Places order and tracks inventory with Shopify.Creates company Weekly Operating Briefs.Assists in restaurant/event menu designs.Creates and orders all logoed stationary materials for the company.Travels when needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years in a marketing leadership role.Minimum of 1-2 years of social media management experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.Must be able to work on holidays and weekends.At least 1 year of experience of executing events preferred.Attention-to-detail and strong command of grammar and spelling.Knowledge of analytics and social media trends and a desire to continuously acquire further knowledge.Basic understanding of social ad management.Design experience is a plus (Canva or Adobe Suite).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.Ability to work under pressure.Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.Disclaimer:This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
