The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR and communications, with a proven track record of driving brand awareness and engagement through strategic initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communications strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.Craft compelling narratives and key messages to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.Develop crisis communications plans and lead the company’s response during reputational emergencies.Monitor and manage the brand’s reputation by responding to inquiries and comments that come through the media inbox.Manage PR agency and foster media relations where applicable, including building and maintaining relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.Develop and execute a cohesive earned media strategy, inclusive of influencer approach, social media and content, and cultural opportunities to amplify brand reach, awareness, and engagement.Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and community management across all platforms in service of fostering El Pollo Loco’s fandom across the country.Identify and cultivate strategic cultural partnerships with organizations, influencers, and brands that align with the company’s values and objectives.Develop and execute innovative cultural events and activations that serve to expand the influence of El Pollo Loco and drive brand loyalty.Monitor industry trends and stay ahead of cultural shifts to keep the brand relevant and impactful.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand awareness initiatives into broader marketing and communications plans.Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on placements, buzz and awareness-driving initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job. The requirements listed below are representative of the education and/or experience required.Education/Work Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in PR and communications, with a focus on influencer and social media strategy.License/Certifications:

Mex from our famous family dinners to Mexican entrees.The pay range identified is the hourly or salary rate El Pollo Loco expects to pay for the posted position. This range does not include any benefits or bonus opportunities that might be available for the position based on position and eligibility criteria. Individual pay will vary based on a variety of factors including years of experience, industry experience, education, geography, etc.
