= VP, Brand MarketingPosition SummaryThe Director, Brand Marketing will report to the VP, Brand Marketing and will be responsible for leading and directing multiple brands in the Marketing and Retail service activities among customers and prospects. This individual must understand the Brand, the consumers, the market, and the retail space, utilizing this knowledge to manage and direct Marketing staff, internal, and external clients, collaborating with Sales, Merchandising, and Creative teams to support existing initiatives, needs, or new potential business.The Director will ensure a consistent brand message, content, and voice across all communication platforms, including digital, to secure a strong brand presence in a highly competitive marketplace. They will support Marketing and Retail Sales in a fast-paced, hands-on, growing CPG company with an indisputable reputation and entrepreneurial spirit.Ideally, this person will possess excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. An aptitude to function within deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential.Essential Tasks, Duties, & ResponsibilitiesWork with the VP of Marketing to lead the brand in a global cross-functional team tasked with driving aggressive growth.Develop, implement, and measure strategic brand plans to maximize revenue by building long-term partnerships and optimizing the customer experience with key retailers.Analyze competitive landscape and promotional strategy to assess brand performance, capture best practices, and suggest recommendations for ongoing improvement.Develop and execute 360-degree consumer-facing marketing plans inclusive of digital & social media advertising, promotional offers, coupons, and breakthrough in-store presence.Brief Product Development on new product ideas, sampling, and collateral required to meet consumer demand and elevate brand performance.Brief the Visual Marketing and Creative teams in the development of in-store, advertising, and digital merchandising and promotional materials, considering all touchpoints in the consumer’s journey.Manage marketing calendar and cross-functional development and implementation of business/brand strategies for product introductions, promotions, pricing, communications, forecasting, and inventory management of brand portfolio.Liaison with International Team as needed.Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.5 to 7 years of work experience in Marketing, with at least 3 years of CPG brand management experience (beauty, cosmetics, skincare is a strong plus).Excellent Leadership Skills – Develops, supports, mentors, and trains Marketing team members.Project Ownership – Takes ownership of projects and drives the work forward to completion.Collaboration and Communication – Efficient cross-functional alignment and influence.Relentless Attention to Detail – Well-organized, meticulous, and precise to ensure flawless execution.Speed – Acts with speed, confidence, and judgment to deliver real innovation for customers, making decisions based on data to meet KPIs.Analytics – Analyzes and interprets internal sales data and syndicated data (e.g., IRI) to inform business decisions and derive actionable insights and recommendations.
