This co-lead position is pivotal in shaping the Chapter's image and community engagement. As a working Board of Directors member, this role collaborates across portfolios to develop and execute marketing strategies, enhance the association's brand, and facilitate effective communication with members, stakeholders, and the wider coaching community. The Director of Marketing and Communications significantly influences community loyalty and engagement by fostering a sense of belonging and dedication among members and stakeholders. This, in turn, strengthens community loyalty.Functional Responsibilities :Working together with the co-director of Marketing and Communications:Leads and executes the marketing and communications objectives of ICF Toronto, in collaboration with other Board membersCo-leads the Marketing and Communications committeeMaintains and executes the marketing and communications plan including strategies and guidelines around communications, advertising, media and public relations, brand, digital and budgetProvides branding and editing support on external communications such as newsletter, ad hoc notices, campaigns, publications and articles, both online and in printLeads the marketing and communications strategy of campaigns and events such as the annual conference, PRISM awards, international coaching week and other key initiativesLeads content strategy, audience engagement and posting for the website and social mediaWe are looking for a volunteer with the following experience/competencies :A passion for Marketing and CommunicationsTeam leadershipUnderstanding of marketing and communications in non-profit organizationsExperience in community outreach and member engagementStrategic mindset and experience in developing and implementing strategyStrong communication skills and collaboration skillsICF Certified Coach is considered an assetExperience with anti-racism and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is considered an assetICF Toronto is committed to working within an anti-racism and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion framework; as such, preference will be given to candidates that will strengthen our Board's diversity, values, depth, and competencies.
