Job Summary:

Disney's ABC Owned Television Station group is looking for a dynamic, motivated Content Producer/Editor to work with our team on premium content initiatives and On the Red Carpet entertainment content. The Content Producer/Editor reports to the Sr. Management Team and works with the On The Red Carpet/Localish team on producing content distributed across all platforms.

This unique position calls for an experienced producer/video editor who aspires to find the best stories and relishes the opportunity to work in the entertainment space. The ideal candidate loves visual storytelling, thinks outside the box, and embodies creativity. They should also have a deep understanding of the evolving digital, streaming, and broadcast landscape. Strong preference is given to candidates with live television experience plus long-form, episodic production and videography knowledge.

What You Will DoThis person will be responsible for setting up shoots, field producing, editing, and distributing content for broadcast, digital, and social platforms for a diverse portfolio of branded and editorial video content across KABC, OTV, and TWDC.

Required Qualifications & SkillsA minimum of two years of experience creating video content in a collaborative environment for a media company, platform, agency, network, or brandExperience and knowledge of entertainment and pop culture.High level of editing expertise in Adobe Suite, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro.Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills.Experience creating digital video content in a collaborative environment for a platform, agency, network, or brand. Show example links and/or reel.A positive and optimistic outlook that matches the brand's mission.Hours will vary depending on the needs of the department - flexibility to work a varied schedule is required.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale is $75,200 to $122,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
