Keyboard/Music Director

Job OverviewWe are seeking a musically talented and passionate Keyboard/Music Director to become a member of our Music Ministry Department at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. The individual will perform as a keyboardist during rehearsals, regular services, and special events, in conjunction with the needs of the Minister of Music and/or Lead Pastor.Responsibilities:Lead and play keyboard while directing during worship services, funerals, rehearsals, and concerts.Play organ/keyboard for Sunday Worship services.Conduct instrumental rehearsals with the Band.Create and implement instrumental music production to enhance the worship experience.Requirements:Strong Christian faith.Proficiency in playing keyboard, organ, or both (Hammond Organ skills preferred but not required).Ability to read music is preferred but not required; candidate must be able to proficiently play by ear.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and organizational abilities.Diverse background in church worship music.Job Type:
