About this job…

As a key member of the Hutton Hotel sales & marketing team, the primary goal of every marketer is to drive total revenue for the property. This position will support the hotel's efforts to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Under the guidance and direction of the dual General Managers, the Director of Marketing will develop and execute digital and traditional marketing initiatives including social media management, copywriting, design, reporting, and analysis of marketing activity.What you’ll be doing…

Develop Marketing Strategies and Content:Ensure compliance of all digital marketing staying up-to-date with current hotel guidelines.

Responsible for marketing within the hotel’s 4-walls (guest room collateral, special menus, promotional materials, hotel cross-marketing including elevator signage, check-in collateral, etc.) as well as developing and leveraging creative community partnerships to drive business.

Facilitate marketing meetings with each partner agency to review past performance and upcoming initiatives.

Responsible for executing hotel marketing needs on property, including but not limited to activations, community engagement, journalist, and media stays, and serving as a brand ambassador for the hotel and outlets.

Manage paid media spend including targeting, deployment, and reporting on performance.

Develop and deploy paid social media campaigns as needed along with digital agency partner.

Facilitate the creation of signage, mockups, email campaigns, and online promotion designing and publishing digital and print collateral as needed.

Research and make recommendations on transient rate promotions, group and catering packages, entertainment, and restaurant events based on current trends.

Develop and implement targeted marketing and promotional strategies for Hutton Hotel, Analog Music Venue, restaurant, and Writers Studios.

Coordinate development of photography shoot lists, collect usage rights, and manage internal storage and distribution of imagery.

Support the development of annual Sales & Marketing plan.

Support the development of marketing budget annually and adjust as needed.

Responsible for developing a regular cadence of email campaign content for the hotel, Analog, Writers Studios, and restaurant, as well as strategies and tactics to grow and nurture this audience.

Responsible for managing automated email campaigns, loyalty programs, and review surveys to foster new guest acquisition and guest loyalty.

Provide critical analysis of strategies, statistics, and demand factors.

Facilitate a Bi-Weekly Marketing Strategy Meeting for the hotel.

Monitor and report on website, online listing, and hotel performance metrics.

Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies.

Provide metrics and analysis for use in the Monthly Owners Report and other ongoing reports.

Create monthly content calendars for Hutton Hotel, Analog, Writers Studios, and restaurant including pre-scheduled content and in-the-moment stories, videos, etc. as well as guest engagement/community management of our social media platforms.

Manage community engagement and response guidelines for partner agency/proper team members to respond daily to guest inquiries, comments, requests, complaints, and reviews.

Maintain hotel image and photography guidelines and effectively communicate these guidelines to partner agencies and team members to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and departments.

Monitor and maintain up-to-date content on hotel, Analog, and Writers Studios websites.

Monitor and maintain up-to-date content on listings including Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, and other property listing sites. Maintain one channel per month performance audit to seek and correct misinformation.

Work alongside digital agency to ensure content and search engine optimization is staying up-to-date on best practices and trends.

Ensure visual and written brand integrity of content for each outlet.

Facilitate updates to huttonhotel.com, analognashville.com, writersstudiosathuttonhotel.com as needed.

Work with revenue and sales to ensure all rate packages are bookable and available across hotel channels.

Pull and distribute channel audit reports for hotel and restaurant listings.

Manage digital assets (photography, 3D tours, and video) for the hotel and outlets.

Maintain and manage relationships with marketing-related vendors (PR Agency, Media Contacts, CVB, Local Partners, Website Vendor, etc.).

Success factors…

Experience & Education:Minimum of 8 years' experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis on SEO, eCommerce, and online paid campaigns.

Experience in the travel, tourism, and hospitality space strongly desired.

Experience marketing independent and lifestyle hotels.

Experience pulling, composing, and evaluating digital media reporting and analytics.

Business copywriting experience preferred.

Experience using HubSpot is a plus.

Design experience a plus.

Communication:Highly organized with strong communication skills and a teamwork style to accomplishing goals.

Organization Skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.

Ability to build positive relationships with internal customers in the field and at the Corporate Office.

Performance focused.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations.

Must be self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines.

Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Physical:8+ hours per day sitting desk/computer; stand and walk occasionally throughout workday.

Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday.
