Job DescriptionThe Senior Marketing Manager will help shape and champion Pizza Hut’s broad brand positioning, consistent campaign planning, tentpole moments and everyday marketing strategies in lockstep with agency partners to elevate and modernize the Pizza Hut brand. This leader will play a key role in overseeing the integrated agency team, fostering collaboration to build impactful integrated work. A deep understanding of campaign development, production, digital/social marketing and project management skills are critical to the success of this role.JOB FUNCTIONS:Oversee development and execution of best-in-class creative delivering against the brand positioning. Focus on Omnichannel video, paid and organic social for national calendar initiatives.Work with brand & calendar team on development of campaign briefs that guide development of integrated plans across paid and owned channels for a cohesive consumer experience.Partner with Director to lead integrated agency team of six agencies, specifically managing weekly status meetings, annual planning summits and ideation sessions. Share consumer and business insights, ensuring agencies are tracking towards annual brand growth objectives.Key partner for lead creative agency on development 360 plans and communication strategy. Manage day-to-day business fostering a strong relationship between Pizza Hut & broad agency team.Coach a team of 2 direct reports and 2 indirect reports providing guidance, feedback and support to ensure strong individual output and build a high-performing team.Oversee TV/video content production process in partnership with agency teams and Associate Manager. Spearhead internal alignment of concept development, production execution and stakeholder review.Partner with media team and agency on campaign strategies and planning as well as consistent performance analysis to determine optimizations and content efficiencies.Utilize consumer insights, market data and media performance to inform decisions, refine creative execution and optimize creative in real time for optimal output.Work with Director of Advertising, CMO & global team to set the creative vision for the brand and campaigns leveraging consumer insights, market data and cultural trends for breakthrough work.Oversee advertising budget, vendor/partner agreements and agency SOWs.Develop presentations, creative campaign overviews, performance recaps, and other materials for internal and external meetings.Manage, protect and champion Brand voice, DNA and positioning.Travel up to 10%.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:Required:Minimum 8 years of overall brand/marketing experience, with at least 3 years of experience leading teams.Strategic thinker with excellent communication & presentation skills – able to articulate the brand POV and gain alignment across the organization.Extensive experience in large-scale TV/Video and social/digital production.Strong creative gut & ability to deliver creative feedback rooted in strategy.Expert collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (PR, legal, consumer insights, calendar team), external partners and ability to manage up to internal leadership stakeholders.Experience managing agency relationships, contracts & budgets.Business acumen – understanding of how to build content strategy to deliver against short & long term sales/transaction goals.Proven ability to monitor brand campaign performance and track KPIs for optimizations and future learnings amongst CI and media teams.Spirit of fun – it's pizza after all – and a love of food.Preferred:QSR, Retail or CPG experience preferred.About UsWho We AreFounded in 1958, Pizza Hut - a subsidiary of Yum!
