The ideal candidate will be responsible for:Supporting the Community Manager with financial operations and orderingHandling rent collections and managing delinquencies for the communityOverseeing the administration of property operations and leasingAssisting with the coordination of maintenance, grounds, and service requestsProviding excellent customer service and support to our residents and prospective residentsCollaborating with the leasing team to achieve and maintain high occupancy and prepare for new move-insManaging the renewal process for all apartmentsLeading by example to help maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team with a positive work environmentSupporting and assisting with outreach efforts to promote the communityContributing to resident satisfaction and the achievement of community and company goalsQualificationsMinimum of 2+ years of experience in residential property managementProficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the InternetExcellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailAbility to work with highly confidential information, take initiative, and exercise good judgment; must be a self-starter capable of identifying needs and requirementsAbility to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement resolutionsProven track record of success in leasingWorking knowledge of applicable Landlord-Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property managementStrong financial skills, including analysis and budgetingExtensive knowledge of property management systems; experience with OneSite is preferredHigh school diploma or GED required; college degree preferredWhy Work at Aldon?At Aldon, we believe in creating better places to call home.
