The Meta Horizon (formerly Quest) OS team is responsible for creating and maintaining the platform that powers the Meta Horizon mixed reality headset. As a content designer on this team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our developers and ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to create immersive experiences. The Reality Labs developer ecosystem team plays a critical role in connecting Mixed and Augmented Reality developers with consumers looking for innovative and immersive experiences. As the popularity of the Meta’s Quest platform continues to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our Meta Horizon Operating Systems team. We need a Content Designer to drive work across the MR developer team focusing on supporting developers to provide world class consumer experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong UX writer with experience in digital applications. Will work on taking technical concepts and translating them into human language. May do some work within the Quest device. You’re perfect for this role if you’re a self-starter who thrives on taking complex information and finding ways to communicate it simply. You’re comfortable working with technical detail and multiple sets of requirements to deliver consistent, high-quality, accurate work. You’re highly solutions oriented and able to drive alignment among multiple stakeholders. You can advocate for the work of content design and show partners how to work effectively with you. You love both high-level strategy and hands-on writing and editing for mobile experiences. Responsibilities • Work with product designers, researchers, product manager, and engineers to develop, validate and iterate content strategy and interface copy • Many concepts do not exist yet, coming up with new ways of describing things • Communicate progress and ensure alignment with a broad range of stakeholders • Apply and maintain consistency with Meta content standards, including voice and tone • Share your work and give feedback to teammates • Execute the above in a fast-paced, goals-oriented environment Skills • Ability to leverage tone and voice that already exist • Attention to detail, with the ability to let go of perfection • Strong prioritization skills, with ability to articulate rationale and tradeoffs • Self-motivated, feedback-driven and highly collaborative working style • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

● Working directly with a broad, cross-functional team to meet MR growth goals in a fast-paced environment. ● Contribute to launching new channels of communication to reach potential MR users across Meta’s Family of Apps to increase MR usage. ● Participate in high-level product and UX design brainstorms to develop MR growth strategies. ● Partner with other Content Designers to support high-priority MR experiences. Requirements ● 3+ years experience ● Ability to write high-quality, error-free content on quick deadlines. ● Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team. ● Contribute to team documentation (examples: new terminology and templates). ● Ability to ensure all content written is consistent with existing company content standards, and brand style guidelines, may include developing new templates. Preferred ● Marketing and/or writing for growth-focused digital products ● Experience with new technologies and digital platforms (VR is a plus.) ● End-to-end campaign work focused on user/customer activation
