You will use your expertise in data analytics to analyze media and marketing performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance marketing and media performance. Your work will directly impact the success of our marketing campaigns and help the company achieve its business goals. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, agency partners, and third-party providers to optimize our marketing data ecosystem and deliver the best possible results. The Associate Manager of Marketing Analytics will report to the Marketing & Media Analytics Manager.

Key Job Responsibilities: Analyze media and marketing performance across various channels, tactics, audiences, and geographies to inform testing backlog and provide recommendations for improving marketing and media performance. Assist in designing marketing tests by defining test methodology and KPIs and selecting appropriate test and control groups. Conduct marketing test and experimentation measurement and analysis. Translate marketing testing data into insights and business outcomes and determine the impact of test results when applied at scale. Create and distribute testing dashboards and visualizations to cross-functional and leadership teams. Work collaboratively with agency and third-party partners to internalize marketing performance data. Support the advancement of the company's marketing data ecosystem. Interface with marketing mix modeling and analysis providers and ensure consistent use of marketing mix analysis across brands. Identify the appropriate markets for a test through Match Market Requests. Compare the performance metrics of the two test versions in two or more markets to identify which performed better in Test Analyses. Take ownership of projects with visibility and backup for the primary Point of Contact. Provide support for Manage Activate, a scenario optimization tool from Ipsos. Offer support for Prioritization Tool. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards. Position Requirements:

Skillset and Requirements: At least 3-5 years of experience in a related field with a heavy focus on data analytics. Strong knowledge of advanced analysis and marketing measurement techniques, including marketing mix modeling, A/B testing, multi-variate testing, regression, and segmentation. Familiarity with marketing mix modeling providers such as IRI and Nielsen. Familiarity with retail sales datasets from a supplier or CPG side. Familiarity with digital marketing, media datasets, and platforms like ad servers and DSPs. Experience in performance media for successful consumer products brand(s); current or prior experience with paid social, display, video, se rch, and content syndication. Understanding of the basic mechanics of digital media. Ability to set KPIs and communicate performance, improve measurement, and translate media data into actionable insights to inform testing backlog creation/prioritization, test design details, and measurement. Ability to communicate test/optimization objectives and media buying details to hands-on-keyboard resources clearly and prescriptively, such as targeting parameters, channel details, buy mechanics, and audience data sources. Strong math, analytical, and forecasting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to self-organize and execute deliverables independently.

Preferred Skillset: Strong understanding of statistics. Experience with ad-serving technology, including trafficking, pulling reports, making, and placing tracking tags. Working knowledge of Google Analytics or a similar web analytics suite. Understanding platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Advanced TV, etc.

Education and Work History: Bachelor's degree required. A combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating competency to perform the work may be substituted. 3 - 5 years of CPG industry experience preferred. Well-rounded understanding of media planning and buying is a plus.
