Senior Interior Designer

A boutique Hospitality firm is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with a strength in FF&E to lead Hotel projects. Ideal candidate MUST have experience working in Hotel Design for 5+ years and must also have experience in a leadership position! Firm is on an in-office schedule and located in Hermosa Beach. Ideal candidate will live less than 30 minutes away.Role & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with the principal and lead the FF&E side of all projects.Lead a team of 3 younger designers and collaborate with the Senior IA.Create furniture layout, matricies, coordinate specs, assemble spec binders/packages/schedules, create custom furniture, monitor procurement/orderingMentor and redline the junior designers' workNurture client relationshipsProduce deliverables including client presentations efficientlyWork to meet project deadlines and keep them within budgetRole is part design and part project management.This is a small team, so the ability to wear multiple hats and juggle multiple projects is criticalSkills & RequirementsBachelor's or master's degree in interior design/interior architecture.7+ years of related experience within Hospitality Interior design.MUST be able to draft in AutoCADProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Designsmart, Bluebeam and PowerpointWithin a 30-minute commute to Hermosa BeachAbility to work an in-office schedule Monday-Friday, hours 9-6pm.This great time offers Healthcare Insurance options, 401k w/ matching, 10 paid holidays, 15 days of PTO/sick time, and so much more!
