Position Description

ABC Companies, a leading provider of commercial passenger transportation equipment and services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Marketing Communications to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the marketing communications strategy and driving brand equity for our organization across various platforms and mediums.

Lead and revolutionize the marketing strategy, driving innovation and disruption across the industry. This role requires a visionary leader who can identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities, relentlessly expand market share, and position the company as a game-changer in the passenger motor vehicle sector. The Director of Marketing will spearhead initiatives that deliver measurable ROI, inspire and lead a dynamic team, and create a compelling brand narrative that resonates with new and existing audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:

In collaboration with the Senior Management team, develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with corporate objectives and drive significant business growth.Brand Innovation:

Reinvent and invigorate the company's brand presence, ensuring it stands out in the marketplace through creative and disruptive marketing initiatives.Market Expansion:

Identify and develop new target markets while expanding the company's footprint in existing markets through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies.Public Relations:

Direct and oversee all public relations activities, positioning the company as a leader and innovator in the industry.Team Leadership:

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.Budget & ROI Management:

Develop and manage the marketing department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI on all initiatives.Event Coordination:

Lead the planning and execution of company participation in regional and national trade shows, seminars, and other key marketing and sales events, ensuring they are impactful and aligned with strategic goals.Agency Collaboration:

Manage relationships with external advertising agencies, driving creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences and achieve desired outcomes.Digital Strategy:

Oversee and continuously improve the company's digital presence, including the corporate website, social media channels, and other online platforms, ensuring they are optimized for engagement and conversion.Market Research:

Conduct and oversee comprehensive market research initiatives to gather insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends, leveraging this data to inform strategic decisions.Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary marketing liaison to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling communication of the company's value proposition.Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:

7-10 years of experience in a corporate marketing environment, with a proven track record of driving innovation, achieving measurable ROI, and leading a successful team.Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of trends, issues, and economics within the transportation industry, or experience in related sectors such as automotive, trucking, or heavy equipment.Leadership Skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse marketing team, with a focus on fostering creativity and driving results.Communication Skills:

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Technical Proficiency:

Working knowledge of current automated business systems, including the full suite of Microsoft Office, ERP systems like Movex, and CRM tools like Oracle or similar platforms.Travel:

Willingness to travel to regional and corporate locations as required.
