Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for assisting in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, creating engaging content for various platforms, creating content to communicate messages and support daily operations of the marketing department and overall marketing strategy.

This position will require travel, mostly within NY/PA 25% of the time with less than 10% travel throughout the Northeast. Candidate must be comfortable navigating construction job sites with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in all weather conditions. General Responsibilities:Develop and produce high-quality, engaging content for our website, social media channels, corporate intranet, and other digital platforms.

Research and write stories and brief company updates.Produce and edit high-quality imagery and video assets.Create custom, brand-related graphics to accompany corporate communications.

Assist in managing and growing our social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.Conduct research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content. Monitor and analyze website and social media performance using available tools and provide insights to improve results.Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, and other promotional activities.Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos to enhance content and campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite.Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content and marketing strategies.Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all digital channels.Attend corporate events to document and capture significant moments. Create shareable content to inform and engage stakeholders.Visit construction jobsites to capture high-quality brand imagery and video.Support the marketing team by assisting with graphic design for advertisements, sponsorships, and general marketing services as needed.Required Competencies/Skills :

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (we do not use Canva).Experience with Microsoft 365 and MS Teams.Graphic design knowledge and skills for digital and print deliverables.Experience with photography and photo editing.Experience producing and editing video content.Experience managing social media accounts preferred.Knowledge of SEO and inbound marketing strategies.Ability to work independently.Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms including Google Analytics is preferred.Ability to analyze data, understand market trends, and measure success of marketing campaigns.Proficiency in using PC and MAC computers.Proficiency in using mirrorless digital cameras to create photography and video assets. (Nikon)Desire and eagerness to continuously hone photography, video, and graphic design skills to master your craft.Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree in communications, marketing, graphic design or related field is preferred.A minimum of three years of marketing experience required.Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry is preferred.Must have a portfolio.Must have valid driver's license.

Compensation:

The minimum and maximum annual rate of pay that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $60,500 to $65,000.
