Being a Product Designer at nCino means being part of a team of designers passionate about crafting delightful solutions for banks, lenders, and their customers.

As a Product Designer, you won't just be designing great experiences, but you'll be involved from the inception to the delivery of products, facilitating internal and external workshops, offering ideas, designing features, and helping ensure the product delivered was a great experience. Crafting delightful solutions will include everything from masterful storytelling to interaction design, visual design, user research, creating new best practice patterns, and updating our design systems as you take ownership of a variety of capabilities within our solution.

Responsibilities

Take on broad, conceptual ideas and help turn them into stories that we can share, craft, and ultimately deliver as great benefits to our customersHelp ensure a consistent and delightful user experience across the nCino Mortgage Analytics platform.Take on the responsibility of owning the interaction and experience of specific products within the Mortgage Analytics platform.Be part of a team of designers who are continually providing feedback to each other as we polish and refine our productsBe a part of establishing a set of best practices to incorporate design research into our Agile development processCollaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and designers to prioritize research opportunitiesRecruit users to participate in user researchConduct in-person and remote user tests to identify stumbling blocks, refine, and iterate on the best user experienceExplain visual and interaction design choices to cross-functional teams and backup those choices with researchCreate sketches, user flows, storyboards, mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and designsQualifications

Required:

5 years of experience applying Design Thinking and Bachelor's Degree in a product design related field, or combination of education, experience, & performanceProven experience using design tools such as FigmaProven track record of designing and shipping delightful user experiencesExperience partnering with Agile teamsFamiliarity with Lean UX conceptsDesired:

Outstanding written and verbal communications skillsWillingness to dive in on big projects and take them start to finishAbility to work within a highly technical environmentKnowledge of the Salesforce.com platform is a plusBanking industry knowledge is a plusTravel Requirements

Willing to relocate to Wilmington, NC, Lehi, UT or Macon, GAMinimal travel required to conduct user research

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:$95,600.00 - $162,500.00
