Description

Join our team as a

Production Artist

and work closely with designers, and project managers to prepare artwork for a variety of educational products, including textbooks, workbooks, digital resources, and marketing materials. In this role you will be responsible for the final stages of production, ensuring that all visual materials are accurate, consistent, and ready for print or digital distribution.

As a Production Artist at Big Ideas Learning You Will:Prepare and finalize artwork for print and digital distribution, ensuring all files meet production specifications.Collaborate with designers to ensure consistency and accuracy in all visual materials, adhering to brand guidelines.Make necessary revisions to artwork, including corrections to typography, color, layout, and image quality.Optimize graphics for different formats and platforms, including print, web, and mobile.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers and digital platforms, to ensure proper file delivery and production.Maintain and organize an efficient file management system for all production assets.Work closely with the editorial and project management teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with educational objectives.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in design and production techniques.All Our Team Members:

Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.2+ years of experience in a production artist role, preferably in educational publishing or a related industry.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.Strong understanding of print production processes, including color correction, prepress, and file preparation.Experience with digital production, including optimizing content for web platforms.Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of educational content and standards is a plus.Preferred: Knowledge of educational content and standards.
