Social Media Manager

Job Title: Social Media Manager Department: Marketing Reports to: Director of Marketing The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing the social media content calendar in partnership with agency partner and corporate social strategist. Primary Responsibilities: Provide video production and photography duties supporting digital storytelling, and short-form and long-form campaign-able digital video that connects with our guests Act as a subject matter expert in Dash Hudson and Brandfolder platforms In partnership with key marketing leadership, review performance of social media activities against established KPIs and provides recommendations Next Level Duties : Leveraging Dash Hudson and Brandfolder platforms for social media scheduling Resident photographer and videographer for Camelback Can augment via existing freelance relationships when needed Curates content that may not only be used for social media but used for direct channels and digital marketing activities Leads/participates in social media brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas Manages workflow with marketing leadership to verify all content is on-strategy and within budget Manage and ensure all timelines are met Must Have Personal Qualifications: 5 years graphic design experience Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Web Design, or related field Compelling portfolio that demonstrates innovative design and/or interactive experience Working knowledge within the Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign Knowledge of layout, color theory & typography Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photography & Videography is a plus Self-starter, maximizes time well Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Works well in a collaborative, 'one team' environment and has personal accountability/impact Strong communications skills (written and verbal) This job description is to be considered a general outline of the duties and responsibilities of this position and is subject to changes and revisions by Camelback Resort at any time.
