About the RoleWe are seeking a results-driven and strategic Program Manager, Marketing to partner with our Director, Marketing. They will focus on our marketing efforts, with an emphasis on content, and drive growth in our membership, conference attendance, and product purchases. The Program Manager, Marketing will write content and develop marketing strategies with the Director, Marketing. They will then project manage the execution of those marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive awareness and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of success in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns. This position reports to the Director, Marketing.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesContent & Campaign ManagementIn collaboration with the Director, Marketing, lead the marketing team and other stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with our organization goals and target audience personas.Produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats.Manage distribution plans to ensure content reaches the right audience through channels such as social media, email marketing, influencer outreach, and other forms.Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns to promote product launches, events, membership drives, and other initiatives while driving awareness of AIHA’s mission.Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule and marketing efforts across all channels.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan and prioritize content creation efforts.Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across various platforms, in coordination with the marketing team.Encourage user-generated content and community engagement.Manage and present ROI reports.Content, Strategy, & AnalyticsCreate compelling content and manage the release of content via press releases, emails, social media, and beyond.Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. Utilize this information to make recommendations to Director, Marketing.Working with marketing team, optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to our website. Conduct keyword research, optimize meta tags, and implement on-page SEO best practices.Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and social media metrics.Use data insights to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.Financial ResponsibilitiesBe conversationally aware of the budget for Marketing and able to manage, in consultation with Director.Assist Director in developing accurate projections, monitor income and expenses, and ensure the maintenance of accurate and detailed records.Work with Finance Group to ensure proper invoicing and crediting.Assist in developing entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to Marketing to ensure financial success.Support a strong value proposition for Marketing.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise the schedule, deliverables, and general timeline of multiple marketing projects across multiple department employees.Maintain a first-class team in coordination with supervisor, which may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and all applicable laws.Effectively and thoroughly communicate short and long-term goals as well as shared vision with direct report(s).Develop direct report(s) through personal development plans and cross-functional assignments; delegate projects and responsibilities for achieving goals to staff.Provide action-oriented guidance and support.

QualificationsEducation & Experience10 years of experience in marketing.RequiredExpert knowledge of:Content MarketingAdobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and IllustratorPowerpointMicrosoft WordWorking knowledge of:Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush.Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.Microsoft Outlook and Sharepoint.Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.PreferredExperience in an association or non-profit setting strongly preferred.At least 5 years of supervisory experience.TravelTravel may be required for this position.

Residency RequirementBased on our business set-up and to maximize remote work opportunities, AIHA only employs individuals who live in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia. To be considered a candidate must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.

SalaryThe pay for this position ranges from $75k to $80k based on experience.
