Position Overview

The Senior Designer (SD) will manage and deliver projects that support the brand to meet business and marketing strategies. This SD will need strong design expertise in order to work independently as well as assist in driving new creative vision and thought leadership. The SD produces best-in-class materials and media, on target, on time, and on budget delivering to internal stakeholders. Externally the SD will collaborate with agencies to produce cohesive B2C and B2B creative. The SD is responsible for applying broad knowledge of project workflows, digital asset management, problem solving, design standards and quality control to handle assignments with minimal supervision.

What you'll do

Responsible for delivering graphic design solutions that supports our brands, business strategy, and project objectives under the direction provided by the Creative Director.

Collaborates with fellow Sales Activation teammates to identify project requirements and produce industry-leading creative deliverables that support program objectives.

Ability to apply consistent and functional branding across multiple media types.

Aids in driving relevant creative for New Product Development (NPD) cycle, consumer-facing collateral, sales support materials, and campaign efforts.

Interprets UI/UX guides to create multi-faceted digital solutions for dotcom and retailer partners.

Co-owner of CRM development through creation of digital emails and assets.

Prioritizes assigned tasks for self and often works concurrently on multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.

Uses ethical business practices in dealing with customers, coworkers, vendors, suppliers, and the community.

Utilizes project workflow and proofing tools for job tracking and department accountability.

Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Who you are

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related industry experience.

7+ years of experience in Graphic Design with focus on print and digital.

Knowledgeable of design principles such as grids, layers, typography, content hierarchy, color and balance.

Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of skills and deliverables, including print, digital, large format for trade shows and events, direct mail, sales support, and point of purchase.

Understands creative briefs and is able to deliver thoughtful recommendations to support them.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment.

Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Consumer goods and retail experience preferred.

A passion for home décor/interior design markets is desirable.

Experience with Workfront (workflow & proof), and Widen DAM are a plus.

Illustration skills for icon development and technical guide support are a plus.

Knowledge of Adobe XD or Sketch are a plus.

Annual base salary range: $79,000.00 - $89,000.00.

Bonus target range: 10-20%.
