Location: San Jose, CA 95110 – 100% Remote

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate Range: $53.52/Hour

Job Description:

· 6-9 years' experience writing and editing developer documentation. Proven ability to lead documentation projects.

· Excellent developmental editing, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to produce quality documentation with aggressive deadlines.

· Proven ability to work well with people and on a team.

· Experience writing for an international audience.

· Proven ability to multitask with multiple features, technologies, products Technical expertise with multiple products or domains, HTML, and DITA open source.

· Proven ability to work with emerging technologies.

· Experience or familiarity with authoring systems like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, oXygen, XMetaL, etc.

· Love for writing and proofreading technical content, with high attention to details and resolve to produce high-quality work

· Experienced at detailing APIs and Web technologies, showing familiarity with modern content guidelines, documentation release processes and management tools

· Experience with HTML/CSS/Markdown language and git repositories

· Basic understanding of JavaScript and Web concepts, and able to test small snippets of code

Education: Bachelor's Degree or above. Focus in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
