Reports to:

Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications

Position:

Full time, 40 hours per week, exempt employee

Salary:

$88,000 - $98,000

JOB PURPOSE

The Marketing Operations Manager will focus on assisting the Marketing and Communications team in executing on the organization’s marketing and communications plan, including maintaining the content and editorial calendar, assisting with monthly check-ins with business units and monthly KPIs, assist with website copy updates, newsletter review/QA, event support, internal communications support, CRM list building and management and media monitoring reports.

The Marketing Operations Manager will exert tremendous influence in driving The Recycling Partnership’s external narrative through owned channels by executing on the organization’s marketing and communications plan. This partner will be a highly organized, self-starter that understands effective marketing and communications channels and the day-to-day operations for the team and organization to execute against its plan. They should possess a passion and knack for identifying creative and innovative ways to draft, test, execute, and evaluate our solutions, strategies, and tactics. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications and working collaboratively across multiple workstreams, including communications, events, and business units, the Operations Manager will use data-driven approaches and best practices to plan for, calendar, schedule, promote, amplify and measure blog posts, reports, email campaigns, websites, and other paid, owned, shared, and earned channels.

60% - Manage Marketing & Communications Operations

Maintain a regular cadence for business unit check-ins around OKRs and future planning/strategy.Develop and maintain the Marketing and Communications calendar.Understand, scope, and document project needs, audience strategy, and MarCom goals for projects.Manage campaign results and reporting.25% - Serve as a Bench and Pinch Hitting for MarCom

Cross-train and pinch hit as/where needed for the MarCom team, including website updates, email campaign development and reviews.Assist with event/conference planning and execution as needed.Internal communications support.10% - Workflow Management & Process Improvement

Launch and planning: Understanding dependencies, blockers, and opportunities.Project Management: Managing deadlines, reviews, edits, and approvals.5% - Upskill Training, and Development
