Now, we need a dynamic IT and Media Support Specialist to help us elevate our technological capabilities and support our faculty, staff, and students.

As our IT and Media Support Specialist, you will be the go-to person for all things tech-related. From managing hardware and software inventories to resolving issues for local and remote users, your role is crucial in ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly. You will support classroom and meeting data connectivity, AV setups, and user training, making a tangible difference in the day-to-day operations of our institution.

What You’ll Do

Tech Troubleshooting:

Provide on-site and remote support for desktop systems, software, and peripherals.User Support:

Respond to and resolve end-user incidents promptly, ensuring high satisfaction.Equipment Management:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, and manage inventory.Training:

Empower users with training on hardware, software, and systems.AV Expertise:

Run audio-visual setups for events, ensuring flawless presentations.Project Management:

Lead technology projects, from migrations to new solution implementations.Collaboration:

Work with outsourced IT partners to resolve issues and improve systems.Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of support activities and resolutions.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.Experienced in handling conference room setups, Zoom/Teams conferencing, telephony systems, and collaboration tools.Proven ability as a desktop technician to resolve complex technical issues.Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
