Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Reporting to the Creative Director, the Sr. Motion Designer for Battlefield is responsible for the strategic and hands-on development of visual motion identities, motion design systems, and digital channel executions to support our franchise marketing campaigns which span across the full product life cycle.Based in EA Redwood Shores California, you will partner with marketers, strategists, campaign creatives, and game studio creatives to ensure all design represents our games, resonate with our audience, and unifies the brand experience through all player-facing touchpoints.You have experience building globally recognized motion systems in organizations that expect nothing less than A+ work. Additionally, you should excel in a collaborative environment within a constantly evolving industry, have practical knowledge of brand and digital design, and generally carry positive energy that benefits the greater team.Primary Responsibilities:Concept and create world-class motion design systems for Battlefield that support all marketing and promotional campaigns. Motion Design Systems include animated solutions for animated key art/cinemagraphs, logos, typography, color and graphic elements.Oversee and participate in execution of animated channel content across owned and paid channels including web, retail, social, digital media, email, and events.Partner with game team art and motion directors to create work that unifies the marketing strategy and game vision.Collaborate with Designers to concept, storyboard and bring directions to life.Present work and build understanding around design direction and execution with important partners.Create rules and guidance for each title’s motion brand style guide, brief partner teams on these rules, ensure consistency and quality benchmarks are met in execution.Work in a hands-on environment that requires flexibility, imagination, positive outlook, a sense of fun, and the desire to learn and grow.Ability to interpret creative feedback and data into iterative design. A multi-revision process is often part of our work.Understand the importance of aligning the campaign narrative into every player touchpoint.Help create and execute internal EA initiatives.Skills and experience:6+ years of experience as a motion designer at a design agency or in-house design team.Experience in motion design for global brands in digital and environmental channels with experience creating robust visual motion design systems.Ability to develop ideas from concept to execution using your vast knowledge of strategic branding, retail environments, paid and owned marketing channels.Have solid communication skills – will provide clear direction to design teams and to sell through concepts and executions both visually and verbally to individuals at all levels of the company.Excellent hands-on design, typography, and layout skills.Be creative and bring a fresh perspective while working within the brand and project parameters.Able to translate a large branding idea to multiple motion touch points in all channels.Capable of juggling multiple projects within tight deadlines.Must be comfortable making changes to work based on layered feedback.Advanced skills in Adobe programs including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Understanding of Figma, Keynote, PPT, HTML5, 3D Modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite.Passion for design and games!Education:

BA or BFA in Graphic Design, New Media, Digital Media Design, or equivalent work experience in the field.
